Cherokee County Indian Festival & Mother’s Day Powwow

This powwow takes place annually in Cherokee County on Mother’s Day weekend in May. It is the largest Native American festival in Georgia featuring dance competitions, wildlife demonstations, primitive skills educators, tribal dance troups, singers, Indian encampments, and more.

The Funk Heritage center is also nearby and worth a visit.
