Chasco Fiesta

This event is held every March  in New Port Richey, Florida. This festival offers eleven days of family fun and entertainment, along the banks of the beautiful Pithlachascotee River in downtown New Port Richey, Florida. This time-honored tradition allows visitors to witness a traditional Native American festival, float decorated watercraft in the boat parade, or attend one of the areas largest street parades.

Other Chasco activities include, the Coronation Ball, a world record beef barbecue, a concert featuring popular country music stars, a street carnival, Native American arts & crafts show, golf & softball tournaments, flea market & antique show, as well as the  5K & 1OK races. The Chasco Fiesta provides activities that will thrill and delight any member of your family and the best part is that most of them are free!!

Thunder on the Beach Powwow

This event is held every February at the Indian County Fair Grounds in Vero Beach, Florida. Features Indian artists, ethnic food vendors,  a teepee village, hoop dancers, eagle dancers, singers and flute players and some very talented drums.

Seminole Powwow Music Festival

This event is held every November in Tampa, Florida at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Features Dance Contest – Over $100,000 in Prize Money

Tribute to the men and women of the US Armend Forces

Veteran’s Day Powwow

The North Bay Indian Village has its annual Veterans Day Pow-Wow in November. Enjoy stories, artifacts, crafts, demonstrators, singing, drumming, dancing, and much more. Location: North Bay Lower Muskogee Creek Indian Village, in Southport, Florida.

This is one of the largest events of the year in Florida and is held every November in Orlando, Florida. Features entertainment such as flute players, story tellers, living history demonstrations, and of course dancing, drumming and singing.
